Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor in Coffee with Karan
Rishi Kapoor is very upset with Deepika Padukone, Sonam Kapoor and Karan Johar for making fun of his son, Ranbir Kapoor.
Bollywood star Rishi Kapoor is said to be very upset with Deepika Padukone, Sonam Kapoor and Karan Johar for the remarks they aired about his son Ranbir Kapoor on the popular Television talk show Coffee With Karan and making fun of him. Though the much-talked about remarks by about Ranbir and Katrina Kaif may have given a lot of popularity to the third season of the show, it has not impress Rishi.
The Bollywood star said that both Deepika and Sonam needed to think twice before they said anything on public platform like a Television show. Rishi also advised Deepika and Sonam to rather concentrate on their respective acting career in Bollywood than making such irresponsible remarks about other actors and making fun of them.

Rishi said he has always had special place for Karan in his heart and had done a lot for the director. He did not expect Karan to return his favours in this manner. Rishi added that he was so hurt after seeing the concerned episode that he will have to think many times before signing a film with him. Rishi said airing comments that are not in good taste and are controversial just to increase the viewership of a show is not a good idea.
After her alleged break-up with Ranbir, Deepika is already not in the good books of Rishi’s family. But with the kind of comments Sonam made on the show seems to have deleted even her name from that list. Though for now, Neetu Kapoor is said to be a part of a Karan Johar project, it unlikely that any member of Rishi’s family will sign a film with Deepika, Sonam or Karan in near future.
